GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND A BUSY WEEKEND

This weekend was filled with events. Friday kicked it all off with Zara bridging from a Daisy to a Brownie. She is on her way to the next year of Girl Scouts. They were all so excited to take off their Daisy Smock, walk over the bridge and put on their Brownie vest. It was very cute. Saturday mornig we were off to Leona Valley for the first parade of the season, The Cherry Parade. The California sun decided to kick in and bring its super hot rays. The girls all looked perfect and so did the float. With just a couple hours to spare we went home changed and got ready for Zach's swim banquet at the bowling alley. Everybody bowled for a couple of hours and then it was awards time. To our surprise and Zach's he earned the most improved swimmer award. It was a great year for him and his improvements. I am so proud of him. Once we got home they were off to Hema and Hepa's and I was off to bed with my first heat headache of the summer. It was all worth it though to see both of them be awarded for their great efforts.
Pictures to come tomorrow... or maybe later tonight.
