SNOW

So we woke up to snow covered mountains today! Then on our way out to the car it started to snow at the house. Zach was so excited because with any luck it would also be snowing in Quartz Hill and the schools would be closed. Zara made me take her outside so that she could watch the snow fall and get it on her hands. She kept yelling it's snowing in Acton California! All schools in Acton were closed including Zara's preschool.
However, Zach attends school in Quartz Hill. As we drove further into the Antelope Valley the snow turned to rain and then eventually the rain stopped and the skies are blue. We will be at school all day today, Poor us. Maybe tonight's rain will at least make it so its to icy for the buses to run and schools will be closed in AV.
If the snow is still at home tonight I will take pictures to post. It really was very pretty.

RAJHA THE PROTECTOR

For Zara's first birthday Jeff's friend Uncle Bob gave Zara a tiger. She has always slept with it on her bed,but lately she has been sleeping with him over her. It is almost as if he is climbing on top of her to protect her during the night. They sleep in this position usually until the morning.

We bought Zara her first Hula Hoop last night. She took it to her friends house and practiced today. When she got home she was showing us how she could hoolie hoop. She throws it around her waist and then shakes her hips like Elvis. It is pretty funny to watch.

Here are a couple of Zach's new headshots. He is still going to class every week and auditions on Saturday, but I think paint balling may become more important on Saturdays. He likes to go to the class and has learned so much about speaking in front of people. He can also improve anything. Who know maybe one day he will be on tv or the big screen.

DOG CONDO

 
 
So Jeff has finally decided to build the dogs a house. Of course nothing he does is simple, he has designed a dog condo. All three dogs can fit in the house at once, and probably Zara too. I think the very cold weather we had, had something to do with him finally building the house. He started the same day that it snowed. Zara thinks the dog house is a play house for herself. I wonder who will get more use out of it, the dogs or Zara?

BACK TO SCHOOL AGAIN !!

Well it's time to go back to school again. We had a very nice month off and now it is back to the classroom. I do have good news though there are only 11 more weeks to Spring Break and two of those weeks are only 4 days long. Can you believe only 21 more weeks and Zach will be on his way to high school. Wow how time flies

CHRISTMAS DAY!

Here are few pictures from Christmas morning and then at Hema and Hepa's house later in the day. I don't have any from Nana's house because being the brilliant person that I am I took the camera but not the memory card. However, I did remember the presents and desserts so there is some hope for me. Zach got all kinds of stuff that only a teenage boy could want and Zara filled up on clothes and horses. What else could a girl want. The day went well and Zara is already planning of her gift from Santa for next year. She is also a constant reminder that Santa is watching us all on a daily basis. I guess Santa's letter made a point.
