FOURTEEN YEARS AGO TODAY!!

I can't believe it has been 14 years since I experienced 27 hours of labor a terrible fever, and an emergency c-section. Fourteen years since I was high on moraphine and told Monique that Zach was 20lbs and the flowers on the wallpaper were dancing. Fourteen years since Lois and Wendy had me laughing so hard we were all crying, mom brought me real food, Jeff cleaned bathrooms that someone else messed up and most importantly fourteen years since my mischief was born. It has been a busy year for him, graduating from middle school, winning awards, moving up to the big boy stage now dad goes and buys his presents. This year he got a pellet gun so he can go out with the big boys and shot targets or yes bunnies. We don't tell Zara though she gets mad. So happy birthday to my little man.

FINALLY GRADUATION DAY !!!

The day of graduation came and everybody was up bright and early. I think this was one of the few days that I didn't have to fight either of them to get out of bed. By the time I got out of the shower Zara was standing in my room holding her dress because she couldn't unbutton it to put it on. Zach was already completely dress and in the family room. I had Zara to Lois' by 7:45 and Zach to the school by 8:30. His graduation was quick and to the point with a couple of speakers and singers, recognition of the many Presidential award recipients and finally the presentation of the diplomas. We had time for one or two pictures with some of his teachers and we zoomed to Zara's graduation.

As we sat down they were starting the music and the kids paraded to their seats. Each on had a line to say and they sang the many songs they had learned throughout the year. The teacher said goodbye with so much emotion, the kids ate snacks and had their friends sign their hats. Another perfect graduation.

Then we were zooming down the freeway to lunch, where to you ask? The only place that both kids can absolutely agree on. SUSHI!!!! They ate a fabulous lunch and we came home. Everybody changed Zara went to Megan's, Zach put all his electronics back in his room I took a nap and Jeff watched man shows without anybody complaining. It was a perfect day and I can say I am very happy that I will probably never have two graduations on the same day again.

Here a just a couple pictures from the day. I have many more but I am sure you don't want to see them all.

GRADUATIONS ON THE WAY!!!!

Next Thursday is filled with a busy graduation schedule. First thing in the morning we watch Zach walk the stage to begin his path to high school. Can you believe it HIGH SCHOOL!!! It's been a long road filled with bumps and stalls and some smooth sailing. I can't believe just 4 years and he's on his way to the rest of his life.
Right after we watch Zach, its hurry on back to watch Zara just begin her path. She is graduating from preschool. She is so ready to begin the next fork in the road. I am sure we will have some bumps, stalls and smooth patches as she works her way down the road. Once again I am surprised at how fast she is moving along. Check back for pictures from the big day, next week.

Three days old

So I had her name wrong, it's Flaminca, not Flamanca. Here she is today. Flamanco wasn't as nervous today so I was able to get some better pictures and the kids were able to love her. She is hopping around the stall and running around, definatly doing better then yesterday. So I am sure she will be out in the big stall soon.

Baby Flamanca

Here she is so very cute! So far they think they will name her Flamanca after her mommy Flamanco. She is doing well today. She gave Sandy a scare this morning but the vet said she will be fine. She is a couple weeks premature so mommy and baby will be spending a few nights in a stall in the barn. Flamanco is a very nervous mommy so I wasn't able to get very good pictures, but you can bet that there will be more to come.
