Pregnent Horses

We went to visit the horses on Sunday. Flamanco and Isis are both very pregnent. We can't wait to see the babies. On the way out Zach and Zara both found the new babies in the stalls. Zara was so exicited that this one let her touch it.

First Week Completed

Well we made it through our first week, thank goodness. Only 172 days left. But who's counting. The both of us spent Saturday's early morning sleeping in and then just relaxing for the rest of the day. Zach is making friends or at least meeting new kids everyday. He seems to be enjoying his classes especially Tech lab where they are preparing to make and launch bottle rockets made out of 2-liter bottles and water. Zara got her welcome back letter a few days ago, she will be heading back to school on September 11. She has two worksheets to complete and is all excited to see all of her friends again. She has mastered writing letter Z and the number 2. She can recognize most of the letters and numbers. She tries to read and is sounding out words. Her friend Megan is trying to teach her too. They play school often. She has been working so hard on learning her wonder woman routine for her dance recital in October. She is getting pretty good and can't wait to dance like the dancers on So you think you can dance. She practices with her tap shoes up and down the hallway all the time. She is now attempting to copy the moves she sees on tv. It's kind of funny to watch her.

8th GRADE

Here was his first day of 8th grade pictures. We were up and out of the house very early, but all went very well. Zach had a great day and made his way around the new campus with ease. He has made some new firends and is adjusting excellently. I am so very proud of him. So far he is enjoying school except for the homework portion. Can you believe just 9 months and he will be in high school. OMG how time flies.

BACK TO SCHOOL !!

So today was my first day back to work. WOW was it hard waking up at 5:30. Monday Zach and I go back together. Can you believe he is starting the 8th grade. I thought today was hard to get up, I can only imagine how it will be on Monday when we both have to get ready. So check back in to see his first day of school picture. Hopefully, he will be wearing one of the new clothing items he bought today. He is such the typical boy that hates to shop. We went today and only ended up with 4 t-shirts and 2 pairs of shorts. I guess I will be going without him in the near future. Have a great weekend everybody.

Las Vegas

While in Vegas we visited the projects which was very informative on why we want to finish our education. Finally we discovered how to get to the Mormon fort which is what we were looking for, but we soon discovered that we were at the natural history musuem instead. The kids and the aunties had fun in the musuem and then it was off to the Mormon fort at a 114 degress it was a very quick visit filled with lots of picutre taking and pamphlet finding so that I can complete my class. We also went to the Titanic exhibit, which Zach really enjoyed. I could take pictures in there sorry you will have to go yourselves.

Hurray for me !!

I figured out how to link the albums to the blog, now you can see all the extra pictures too. I have such a hard time decideing which one to put up on the blog. Some of you have access to the kodak gallery, this is the one you get when I email pictures to you. Now you have the link right on the blog. I hope you enjoy, it took me all day to figure out how to get them linked.

Father's day fun

For Father's day we went to Lois' for swimming and a BBQ. We all had so much fun, even Jeff swam all day !!

Pier 39 SF

We went to the aquarium on pier 39 while we were in SF. The kids had so much fun. Here they are in the touch tank area. Zara was not long enough to reach the rays or leopard sharks but she could reach the star fish. She wasn't too sure at first but she did touch one. We also saw the sea lions that have taken over, but most of them were gone for the summer.

Another year older

Here are pictures from Jeff's birthday. Zara and her friend Megan made him a playdough cake, with a candel! Later that night we went to dinner with the family. We celebrated for two days, I think he got his years worth.
