OFF ROAD

Sunday we went out to the AV Fairgrounds for the off road race. We all had a great time Zara cheered for everyone as usual. Jermey got second and Zach got his picture taken with him. It was a perfect day weather and fun wise. We saw great crashes and a fire.

FIRST DAY BACK !!

Today was Zara's first day back to school. This is her last year of preschool and then the big world begins. Many of her friends went to a different school this year so she will have to make some new ones. She already has homework and was eager to do it. I wonder how long that will last. Her teachers of course were excited to have her back and she was happy to see them. She already had her backpack packed with a horse for sharing. Well only 3 girls turned out to dance at the fair. Actually they looked a little lost but completly adorable. There was a good turn out of community support. Zara looked very cute in her wonderwoman costume and tried really hard to remember the entire dance, maybe with a little more practice. I will try to post some pictures tonight or this weekend. ZARA'S RECITAL

For those of you that want information about Zara's recital it will be on Oct.13 at 1:00. tickets go on sale Sept . 13 for 17.50 each. everybody must have a ticket including babies. lap tickets for children 2 and under are $5.00. To purchase call 661-723-5950 M-F 10 - 6. Sat. 12-4. The performance will last approximately 2 1/2 hours so plan accordingly.

END OF SUMMER FUN

LOOK NO VEST !!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ZARA!! She is now swimming with no vest. She can go across the shallow end side to side. She is jumping off the step to swim toward the deep end and only using her vest when she is tired but doesn't want to get out of the pool yet. In just a few weeks I got another fish.

AV FAIR

On Sunday we went to the fair and played, then we watched Bull Riding. Zach road the mechanical bull and Zara jumped into the sky. Everybody went down the slide, Wendy won that is why she is not in the picture. We saw the pig races, rode the carousel, ate lots of fair food, and played until the sun went down. It was definitely another great day. We all came home completely exhausted and rested all day Monday to be ready for work and school the next day.

CAMP HEMA PICTURES

Finally I got to work on my computer I have uploaded the pictures from camp hema and also the fair.

For all of you the might need something to do next weekend Saturday September 8. Zara will be performing at the Agua Ducle Fair with her dance class. I think it will be around 12:00, I know really hot. Just an FYI

CAMP HEMA!!

As a child I loved to sleep outside, so I decided that my children should have at least one experience of camping out in the backyard. Well as we all know I don't exactly have the best yard to do that in so I created "Camp Hema" and invaded Hema's house for the day and night. We bbq hamburgers and hotdogs, made smores in the fire pit and swam at night. The kids thought they were all special when they got to swim at night. They loved making smores and were not so sure about sleeping on the lawn. Finally we were out for the night, and it was a beautiful night. I have to admitt I didn't think we were going to pull it off after the huge down pour we had earlier that day, but it was perfect. Zara woke up asking when we could do it again. Both kids were back in the pool by 8:00 in the morning. Camp Hema's was a success and the kids have one more experience to put in their memories. Maybe next time we can invite a friend to share the camp with. Here are just a couple of the pictures from the night, but check the link for more. Well check back for the pic.
