Later that night we went to the opening of Transformers, which was really good. Before the movie he got out present which was a new paintball gun. He loved it. It shoots fast is the perfect color, now it just has to cool down some so he can go use it.

End of the Year !!!

Zara's talent show they were the cartoon hero's. The local dance team instructor created the dance. It was full of all kinds of stuff, punches, jumping, push ups, splits, cartwheels and so much more.. they stole the show.

End of the year daisy's party at the park. The kids played and played. Before the bbq they had small workshop to do crafts and earn daisy petals.

Zach's bday and end of the year party. Evan, Nathan, Danyell and Kailee came and helped him to celebrate. They swam, ate and played guitar hero. It was a nice end of the year day.

Of course zara was in the pool to. She spent most of her time with this floaty. She is able to swim under the water now and dive to the bottom. She is still not to sure about the deep end but she does go over to it. By the end of the summer she will be swimming everywhere.

Spring Concert

For the spring concert Zara sang 3 songs: the ants come marching in, Mr. Sunshine, you are my sunshine and the nanthonal nathem: national anthem.
They wore their ant hats all night and in the middle of the big kids singing the kindergartners would march around the mpr and up on the stage and then out the door again.. all the time singing and making arm movements. It was very cute. We have one more singing thing to go to this year which is the talent show and then singing is done for this year at least. Remember to see the pics bigger just click on one and the entire collage enlarges.

Momma look what I did

Zara got this horse sweatshirt from Lois for a present. She has always called it her Isis sweatshirt because the horse on it looks like our horse Isis. Well with this strange weather we are having she needed a sweatshirt to go outside. While I was getting ready she was finding her sweatshirt. She came to me saying Momma look at what I did. She had written by herself, Isis and Flamanco BFF's. Very cute I know but on her almost new shirt. What do you say to such a thing. So very calmly I said next time you want to write on your clothes with staining marker, you have to ask and we took a picture of her new shirt.

Bridging

When the girls transfer from level to the next in girl scouts it is called bridging. Zara does not bridge until next year, she is a daisy for 2 years. The leaders did a great job decorating the mpr. Everything was made from a something recyclable, it was really pretty. The Daisy's got to do the quiet sign every time people got to loud, they took this job very serious and even got to lecture their own moms a few times. We ate dinner there and they had a basket raffle. Zara won two items and was very excited. She had a great night with her friends and of course performing on stage. Next year it will be a big night for her.

OPEN HOUSE

For open house everybody in Zara's class had to create themselves. The paper specifically said make sure your child participates. But I don't think many parents read that part because they all looked something like this. Zara and Nadalee were all giggly when they saw theirs. The white one with the scary jaws teeth is the one Zara made herself.

Memorial Day

We went to Jeff's parents for the day. The kids swam a little and we ate homemade spaghetti and meatballs, that mom made. We were stuck under the patio because if you got anywhere past the pool the crows would attack you, literally. They swoop down and peck the dogs on the head. One chased Zara and she fell and got some roadrash trying to get away. Then on chase and attacked Jeff, so that was the end of about 3 birds. We can now go out safely into the backyard.

Daisy's Parent's Day

Instead of just celebrating the mom's Daisy's celebrated both parents. They made us lunch and read the poems they had written about how wonderful we are. It was very cute. The girls were very excited.

MOTHER'S DAY

So I am a lot behind. For Mother's Day the kids and I took mom and Richard to the Aquarium of the Pacific. I didn't know she had never been there, so it was perfect. We got there early and basically had every exhibit to ourselves until about 12:00.

so I am way behind

I have some catching up to do... next week is my week of work so watch out, I will be posting everything I have not done yet. I went back to school and realized that I am out of wack, but I am getting back in the school mode. Zara will participate in the bridgeing on Friday, she doesn't bridge until next year. She has a spring concert school recital on the 9 and a talent show in the 16th. Zach will be returning to cross country over the summer and of course we will be heading out for Salt Lake.... Can't wait for Zara to do all the fun things and Zach is excited to go back.. I sure hope they are ready for us to invade.
