HAPPY BIRTHDAY

 
 
 
 
Thursday was Zara's 7th birthday.. it was a perfect day for her everybody at school celebrated with her and some cookies then we all went to BJ's so she could have a pazookie.. Jeff orderd the largest one and and she was so excited. We shared with everybody but she thought she was getting it for herself. Time is just flying by

Rigdecrest swim meet

Since we were told by Palmdale that they needed all of their lanes our little school had to shuffle to find a new group to compete against. That means we had to travel to all parts of the desert. This meet was in Ridgecrest the team did pretty good. Zach swam a freestyle in a relay and then backstroke and freestyle on his own. This week we went to Applevalley to FREEZE !!!! in the wind and cold weather only to find out that the refs never showed up and the meet was canceled until next week. Those will be the last two meets for him. I am amazed at his determination, practice 3 days a week for 2 hours of constant swimming and then an hour of land practice two days a week. Never a complaint from him. He gets about a month and half off and then its right into early morning runs for cross country. So proud of him. Now if I could only keep his size 29 jeans from falling off of him. Again he is losing weight.. I wish it worked like that for me. Here a a few pictures of him from last week. PAGEANT DAY !!!

we weren't allowed to take pictures during the pageant so here are a few I got after. She did very well in all area's I am so proud of her.. And as she informed us she is very proud of herself. She looked perfect in everyway thanks to Amy and Jenn. She is very happy to be a Princess and Happy for Ryann who won queen. All of the girls were very supportiv of each other, it was beautiful.. All Zara cares about is that she has a sash, a tiara and gets to ride in the parades with her friend. Who could ask for more than that. She was judged on an interview which her and the six judges for about ten minutes. She wore the polk a dot dress for that. Then on acutal pageant day she had her speech, the cowgirl outfit. She did how I survive being a cowgirl.. it was SUPER CUTE IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF. Then introduction and impromtu,which is in her formal. They also perfromed a dance but that is not judged. Fun with Cousins !!

 
Charlotte was able to spend the night with us and go to dance and the Talent show with Zara. Here they are looking cute with their flowers. At the talent show Zara and Nadalee got the giggles while on stage, it was very funny
 
On Friday I kept the kids home from school so they could spend the day with their cousins. We all went to the observatory. I think we could have just gone to park and they would have had just as much funh.
