SNOW

So we woke up to snow covered mountains today! Then on our way out to the car it started to snow at the house. Zach was so excited because with any luck it would also be snowing in Quartz Hill and the schools would be closed. Zara made me take her outside so that she could watch the snow fall and get it on her hands. She kept yelling it's snowing in Acton California! All schools in Acton were closed including Zara's preschool.
However, Zach attends school in Quartz Hill. As we drove further into the Antelope Valley the snow turned to rain and then eventually the rain stopped and the skies are blue. We will be at school all day today, Poor us. Maybe tonight's rain will at least make it so its to icy for the buses to run and schools will be closed in AV.
If the snow is still at home tonight I will take pictures to post. It really was very pretty.
