CAMP HEMA!!
As a child I loved to sleep outside, so I decided that my children should have at least one experience of camping out in the backyard. Well as we all know I don't exactly have the best yard to do that in so I created "Camp Hema" and invaded Hema's house for the day and night. We bbq hamburgers and hotdogs, made smores in the fire pit and swam at night. The kids thought they were all special when they got to swim at night. They loved making smores and were not so sure about sleeping on the lawn. Finally we were out for the night, and it was a beautiful night. I have to admitt I didn't think we were going to pull it off after the huge down pour we had earlier that day, but it was perfect. Zara woke up asking when we could do it again. Both kids were back in the pool by 8:00 in the morning. Camp Hema's was a success and the kids have one more experience to put in their memories. Maybe next time we can invite a friend to share the camp with. Here are just a couple of the pictures from the night, but check the link for more. Well check back for the pic. Jeff's computer will not accept my camera chip.
