PAGEANT DAY !!!

we weren't allowed to take pictures during the pageant so here are a few I got after. She did very well in all area's I am so proud of her.. And as she informed us she is very proud of herself. She looked perfect in everyway thanks to Amy and Jenn. She is very happy to be a Princess and Happy for Ryann who won queen. All of the girls were very supportiv of each other, it was beautiful.. All Zara cares about is that she has a sash, a tiara and gets to ride in the parades with her friend. Who could ask for more than that. She was judged on an interview which her and the six judges for about ten minutes. She wore the polk a dot dress for that. Then on acutal pageant day she had her speech, the cowgirl outfit. She did how I survive being a cowgirl.. it was SUPER CUTE IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF. Then introduction and impromtu,which is in her formal. They also perfromed a dance but that is not judged. Below are a few pictures of her from that day. She was so excited she didn't go to bed until 10:00 pm.

 


 

Fun with Cousins !!

 
Charlotte was able to spend the night with us and go to dance and the Talent show with Zara. Here they are looking cute with their flowers. At the talent show Zara and Nadalee got the giggles while on stage, it was very funny
 
On Friday I kept the kids home from school so they could spend the day with their cousins. We all went to the observatory. I think we could have just gone to park and they would have had just as much funh.

Just a catch up

Zach is moving right along with his swimming.. I don't know how he makes it through the week. 2 hours practices 3 days a week and 1 hour intense land practice 2 times a week plus homework and all the other stuff of just being a teenageer. He has a meet on Wed. well hopefully, our school is pretty small so we share lanes with another school and they have said we can't swim with them any more becuase their team has grown so much this year. The coach is working on something else so the kids will be able to compete.

Zara and pageant are moving along very well. We are almost done with all the stuff we need together. We finished her stuff for her speech which I have to say is pretty cute! I now have three outfits for her interview and can't decide between two of them.. Sales are not such a good thing when you can't make up your mind. After formal pictures which were last Tuesday we had LOTS of stress: Zara's dress is almost 5 inches to short..She has grown so much since Sophia's wedding but I thought by letting out what we took in the dress would fit perfect, boy was I WRONG !!! So Lois and I made a mad dash on Thurday to find a new dress, that must fit perfect for dress check on Tuesday.. after a full day of shopping and looking at just ok dresses and we were exhausted but Zara had so much fun, we finally found the PERFECT DRESS !!!! I almost cried when she put it on. I love it so much. She looks like the princess that she is.. I can't wait for you all to see it. OHHHH MY GOSH YOUR GOING TO LOVE IT TOO <3<3<3<3

The plan was to call Dom as we were walking out of the room so he would be talking to mom as she went into the kitchen.. he however screened her call. Imagine the expression when she came out singing happy birthday as he was still holding the phone.. Priceless. it was a perfect day for him SURPRISE, dinner, presents and everything. I hope he had as much fun as we did.
 
My birthday began at the laundry mat folding football pants for Dom's team. Then lunch at the Texas Roadhouse, a movie and the best part a day FILLED WITH SNOW. I think I was the only one that was happy but it was my day so to bad for them.

Sunday was our last day, breakfast at IHOP and then a ride to the mountains, again I was the only one that truly enjoyed it, well maybe mom too. Tristan got sick, Jade took a nap and Dom just drove. It was perfect for me.
We had a great flight home. I took some great pictures of the clouds from above and just rested. Mom and I were both exhausted and couldn't wait to land and go to bed. It was a great trip.

Zara has finally learned how to ride her bike without training wheels and with pedals. She still is not to sure about going fast, but at least now it wont take us forever to go around the block.
 
Her tooth that was loose forever finally came out on Valentine's Day. Well actually we had to pull it out because it was so far forward she couldn't close her mouth without it poking through her lip.
 
Pageant Tea was a lot of fun for her and all of her friends. I think this will be the largest pageant that Acton has had for a while. It should be fun for both Zara and I, her friends have the best moms.

sorry no pictures of Zach in the pool yet. It has been to dark at practice lately. It is beginning to stay light longer so I will do my best. I have to say the new kids to the team have improved so much in the last two weeks. The pool as become more quiet as they swim.

i know I know...

I am a lot behind... I know.. so much has happened in these two months.. Zara finally learned to ride her bike...she lost another tooth and I am sure you all know she will be running for little miss acton... on top of dance and daisies.. I don't know how she fits it all in.

Zach as made the swim team his first meet is March 11.. cross our fingers. I have been freezing my butt of at the park while he swims for 2 hours 3 times a week. He will be taking a little break from karate becuse it just doesn't fit in, but when he goes back he will be taking the regular Tang soo do and Kav Magra. He really liked that class and I finally found something that makes him tired.. Amazing.

NEW YEARS !!!

This year we went to the desert for New Years. It was a bit cold but a GREAT TIME... the kids had a blast. Zach and Zara got to ride their new bikes and Niko got to go on his first Big Boy ride.. that's what the old men call their all day ride.. I had to create collages for each of the kids, remember to make them bigger click on the collage. Hope everybody had a fabulous New Years !!!
