KID UPDATE!

 
Zach tested on Friday for his blue with white stripe belt and did very well. He did most of his sparing and hand grabs with a girl named Casey. A few points were deducted because he went a little easy on her because she was a girl, but she didn't go easy on him at all. He will also start track next week so watch for those updates too. from non social to doing everything go mischief!
 
 
Zara had crazy day at school. I didn't know where she would be going after Jeff picked her up from school, so we went a little easy on the crazy part. By the time she came home her skirt was on backwards too! Then finally, she put on a fashion show for us, makeup and all. I had to score her on how well she entered the room, her outfit and all of her poses. her rules. Crazy little girl. oh and the makeup is by Zara herself. I think she is a budding star.

WHALE WATCHING!

We spent the day in Long Beach on Sat. The boys went whale watching finally and we just drove around killing time. Breakfast consisted of a Churro and a Funnel Cake, yeah I know stomach ache. We did better for lunch, Bubba Gump. So while at lunch we are talking to the boys about their trip on the water all I got was it was cold, we didn't see any whales and we took a nap. So I thought I would look through their pictures, of course I gave them a camera. They weren't any better. There was about 6 of the seal lions they, one of Zach and some the open water. So I guess they had fun. They said they did at least, but I don't have any good stories to share. If I had give the camera to girls I would at least have a bunch of funny pic. Oh well boys will be boys.

VASQUEZ ROCKS

 
Our whale watching trip was canceled until next weekend, so we went to Vasquez Rocks instead. The boys had a good time climbing huge rocks and Zara did pretty well on the smaller ones. We hiked in the rain and saw pictographs from the Indians and all the nature. The stream was running pretty good so that was fun too. After, we went the long way to Palmdale where we shopped and had lunch. It turned out to be a good day. Next weekend, whale watching as long as the weather cooperates

start saving!!!

I just learned that Zara will be in not one, not two but three dances this year for recital. Ohhhh my goodness, I am going to start saving now for the costumes. Who would have thunk, three dances, at least we will get our moneys worth this year, I guess I will be working in the back to help her change costumes. Now let's just pray that both classes are put in one show and not split between the two shows. Ohh my goodness that wouldn't be good at all.

GUESS WHAT!!!

Zara went to jazz class today and actually turned the correct direction!! She is learning and she knows how to count out the moves. Go Zara. By recital she should be pretty good.
